The 2008 CFBS Scientific Conference will be the 6th of the Northern
Lights Conferences (CFBS will act as sponsor & meeting coordinator)
This change will reflect the changing nature of our scientific meetings
and our desire to attract a larger international audience in addition
to international speakers.
A total of 10 symposia are presented. June 17 - 20, 2008.
The Sixth Northern Lights Summer Conference Offers:
-
Scientific lectures presented by high caliber speakers in their
own field, related to the meeting main themes. All symposia are chaired
by recognized leaders in the field. The various symposia span the
range from basic mechanisms to clinical applications and bring together
new and emerging strategies for research and therapeutics.

Opportunity for researchers and scientists from academia, government
and industry to interact and exchange ideas. The meeting is attended
by researchers and scientist from Canada, USA and overseas.

Opportunity for researchers to present their research through poster
and oral presentations. The accepted abstracts are also published
in the Program and Proceedings book, and posted on the CFBS web for
over a month.

Students Activities and Workshops.

Six travel awards are awarded to CFBS Student and Post Doctoral
Fellow Members. Various societies offer travel awards as well, please
consult the CFBS Travel
Awards page for more details.

Opportunity for societies members' abstracts to be nominated for
Societies' awards. Guidelines

Scientific exhibits, that are considered an integral part of the
educational experience of delegates. List of participating exhibitors
