Graduate Student Oral Presentation

  • Schedule for oral presentations & guidelines will be available by May 30, 07 based on abstracts received.
  • Oral presentations will be scheduled for 10 minutes presentation and five minutes for questions.
  • Oral presentations have to be prepared as a Power Point presentation.
  • Some abstracts may be scheduled for oral presentation depending on number and category of abstracts received. If oral presentation has been chosen, by the delegate, as a method of presentation, but not enough abstracts were received in the chosen category or we could not accommodate you due to program time restriction, the abstract will be scheduled for a Poster Presentation.
  • The CFBS office will advise the presenters via email of their method and date of presentation by May 30, 2007
  • Each abstract will be assigned a number. You will be advised of your abstract number in that email as well.

Poster Presentation

Abstracts scheduled for presentation in poster sessions will be grouped by topic, numbered and listed by session in the Program and Proceedings book. Posters will be on display for one complete day. Authors will be advised by email of their abstract number and time for presentation. Authors must be present at their posters during this time.

REMOVAL OF DISPLAY
Wednesday &Thursday 16:30

All displays are to be mounted on the assigned board during the set-up time and removed promptly at the conclusion of the day. Each mount is 4 ft wide by 3 ft high. At the top of each poster space, prepare a label indicating the program number of your abstract, the title and authors, and the institution. The lettering of this section should be one (1) inch high. Please include a copy of the Abstract with the poster, to allow your colleagues to view it in your absence. All illustrations should be made prior to your session. Your posters will be read from approximately three (3) feet away so charts, diagrams, and illustrations should be large enough, and drawn heavily enough to be seen from this distance. Do not mount your work on heavy boards as it may be difficult to attach them to the poster board. You may find it useful to have a sketch pad on hand as well as pencils.

Please do not write on or paint or otherwise mark the poster boards.

Any special assistance required will be provided by the poster session monitors.

*** 6 Male velcrow tabs will be provided per poster,
PUSH PINS ARE NOT TO BE USED***
