CFBS 49th Annual Meeting,

"3rd Northern Lights Summer Conference
&
9th Annual Canadian Light Source Users' Meeting"
June 14 - 18, 2006

The main theme is:
Shining Light on Biological Processes

 

 
  • The two meetings will be held consecutively, June 14 - 18, 2006. Joint sessions will be held on June 16, 2006. Exhibitors participating in both meetings' exhibit are eligible for $200 discount for each meeting.
  • Scientific exhibits, that are considered an integral part of the educational experience of delegates.
  • The exhibits will be placed next to the scientific posters and in the Geology Atrium at the University of Saskatchewan to offer excellent exposure and attract the maximum number of attendees to the exhibits.
  • Maximal exposure of the exhibits to the expected 300 - 400 participants representing research scientists from academia, industry and government as well as graduate students and post doctoral fellows.
  • Participating exhibitors will be provided 50 tickets per booth to invite laboratory supervisors and staff to the exhibits area “Geology Atrium” while the scientific sessions are being held.
  • CFBS posts the names of participating exhibiting companies on its website (Exhibitor List) and creates links to their websites. This information is updated regularly, as forms and payments are received at the CFBS office.
  • Various marketing and advertising opportunities in the form of Meeting Folders Inserts, Technical Tutorials, banners on the CFBS website, and advertising in the Program and Proceedings book. Please consult Guidelines and Regulations for further details.
  • Participating Exhibitors are encouraged to email Wantonious@CFBS.org Company's logo to be inserted free of charge in the Program & Proceedings book
  • CFBS acknowledges participating exhibitors in the Program and Proceedings book and on the Meeting Folder that is handed on-site to the delegates.
  • A reception will be hosted on Thursday & Friday June 15 and 16, 2006 in the Geology Atrium
  • Door prizes are presented on Friday, June 16, 2006. Delegates who have proof of visiting all the exhibits are eligible for the draw. Exhibitors are encouraged to contribute to the door prizes and are to communicate their interest to Dr. Brian Bandy, Exhibitors' Liaison.
  • Easy access to loading docks.
  • Scientific lectures presented by high caliber speakers in their own field, related to the meeting main theme. Six symposia chaired by recognized leaders in the field. The various symposia span the range from basic mechanisms to clinical applications and bring together new and emerging strategies for research and therapeutics.
  • Opportunity for researchers and scientists from academia, government and industry to interact and exchange ideas. The meeting is attended by researchers and scientist from Canada, USA and overseas.
  • CFBS posts Exhibits' photos and creates links to the companies' web-sites. These photos and links stay on the web until they are replaced by the following year's meeting photos and links.
  • Internet Cafe, to allow delegates to access their emails and the Internet.
June is a lovely time of year in Saskatchewan.
